Headquarters for the All-Star Squadron as of issue #19, donated by President Roosevelt and Mayor LaGuardia. The World’s Fair had closed in 1940, and some of the buildings had been demolished, but the Perisphere and the Trylon stood vacant. The Squadron found and refurbished a “robot” that the Westinghouse Electric Company had used to attract crowds–it became the guard and major-domo for the complex, named Gernsback. It also houses the All-Star Special, the official flying vehicle of the All-Stars.
